Prostitution Laws is a reference on how European countries regulate prostitution: the statutes, the court rulings, the pending bills and the official figures, in one place and in plain English.

Who we are

The site is researched and maintained by the editorial team of EscortFox, an online directory where independent escorts and agencies advertise. Advertising is regulated differently in each country, so we have to follow these laws closely anyway; this site publishes that work for everyone. It takes no position for or against any legal model and carries no advertising.

Corrections

If something is wrong or out of date, write to [email protected] with the page, the statement and, ideally, the source. We check every report against the primary source and note significant corrections in the profile's timeline.
